SYDNEY MCLAIN

Sydney McLain is an associate attorney with the Law Office of Don R. Williams, LLC. Her journey with the firm began long before her bar card. She joined the team in April 2021 as a case manager and, while managing a full load of pre-litigation responsibilities, earned her Juris Doctorate from Southern University Law Center in May 2025. Sydney passed the Louisiana Bar Exam in July 2025, was officially sworn in as an attorney on October 20th, 2025, and she is now licensed to practice in all of Louisiana's various district and municipal courts. Recently, Sydney also became a newly minted member of AAJ (American Association for Justice).

Sydney passed the Louisiana Bar Exam during July of 2025 and has begun the journey of mastering written discovery, oral discovery, motion practice, and trial practice. Specifically, in the area of plaintiff's transportation litigation, assisting on cases that range from simple car accidents to serious injuries deriving from commercial vehicle collisions.

Originally from Leesburg, Georgia, Sydney brings a competitive edge and team-focused mindset shaped by a lifetime of playing softball throughout college. She plans to approach her cases with the same grit, discipline, and drive that defined her athletic career—only now, the victories will come in courtrooms rather than ballfields. Sydney's blend of down-to-earth personality and unwavering commitment to client advocacy makes her a standout addition to the firm and a strong voice for the individuals she will represent.
